Microsoft launches Windows 10 IoT Core Services into public preview

Following a limited preview that Microsoft kicked off at Computex earlier this year, Microsoft has launched Windows ten IoT Cadre Services into public preview. The service, which is available with varying paid tiers, is intended to help Microsoft partner companies deploy and commercialize devices congenital on Windows 10 IoT Cadre with long-term back up and security.

Windows 10 IoT Core Services focuses on three key areas. The start is long-term servicing, which guarantees 10 years of support to keep devices up-to-date with the latest security fixes. The offering besides bundles in the Device Update Center, which gives companies more than control over how they create, customize, and distribute updates. Finally, the included Device Wellness Testament service offers a cloud-based solution for assessing device health and tin be integrated with device management services.
